There are many benefits of being a santee cooper fishing guide. I have the opportunity of making dreams come true for our youth as well as adults who may not have had the chance to experience the pleasures of fishing that I am so passionate about. I am one of many experienced fishing guides on Lake Marion, and Lake Moultrie, but I can assure you that no one will try any harder to ensure that your fishing experience will be one to remember for a lifetime.

I began fishing the Santee Cooper Lakes when I was just 4 years old and can remember catching every species that our lakes have to offer. About 10 years ago I decided to focus soley on Catfish. I started fishing every tournament that was offered on our lakes and joined a local catfish club. My brother and I have teamed up and won “fisherman of the year” for three consecutive years. We enjoy what we do but there is also something special about sharing this with others.

Santee Cooper has nearly 200,000 acres of lakes to fish and has landed many record catches over the years. Last year state regulations put a limit of 1 Blue catfish over 36 inches per person per day. We are now seeing more and more catifsh being caught in the 90 to 100 pound range. Give us a try, maybe you could be the next one in the record books.
